MOONHUB Dashboard Set-Up Checklist for Admins & Managers

As an account Admin or Manager you will be able to set up your organisation or team's dashboard in a way that suits your needs. 





1. Activate Your  Account


First things first—let’s activate your account. This step is crucial as it unlocks your ability to configure the entire system.


Steps:

  1. Check your inbox for a welcome email from MOONHUB. If it’s not there, check your spam folder or contact our support team.
  2. Click the 'Let’s get set up!' button in the email.
  3. Create your username and password on the setup page.
  4. Log in to access your dashboard and start customising your experience.


2. Create Groups & Assign Training (Recommended)

Want to streamline your training processes? Grouping your learners can make a big difference, especially for organisations with multiple teams or locations. You can customise training for each group, making it easy to manage who learns what.


Why Create Groups?

  • Organisational Efficiency: Ideal for managing multiple teams or departments.
  • Tailored Learning: Assign specific training modules to different groups.
  • Scalability: Easily add or modify groups as your organisation grows.


Steps:

  1. Go to the Learners tab.
  2. Select the Groups dropdown menu.
  3. Click on '+ Add New Group'.
  4. Name your group and click Save.
  5. Assign training to the group based on your organisation’s needs.

3. Add other Managers (Optional)


Empower your team leaders by giving them the tools to oversee and manage their learners effectively. Adding Managers before your learners can streamline the process, allowing Managers to handle group creations and learner assignments themselves.


Why Add Managers Early?

  • Enhanced Oversight: Managers can monitor and support their team’s progress.
  • Delegation: Managers can create groups and add learners, reducing your workload.
  • Personalised Management: Learners can be directly assigned to their respective managers.


Steps:

  1. Follow the same process as adding learners (outlined below).
  2. Assign the role as ‘Manager’.

4. Add Learners

Now that your Managers and Groups are set up, it’s time to bring your learners on board. Whether you’re adding them individually or in bulk, the process is designed to be as seamless as possible.


How to Add Learners:

  • Single Learner Creation: Perfect for adding learners one at a time.



  • Bulk CSV Upload: Ideal for adding large numbers of learners quickly.



  • To link learners with their Managers, use the 'Managed by' field during single learner uploads or the 'Manager email' column in bulk CSV uploads.


What Happens Next?

  • Learners receive an email invitation to set up their account.
  • Once activated, their status will change from ‘inactive’ to ‘active’.
  • Learners can then log in to their headsets using their username/email and password to begin their training journey.
