  • Respond to instructions and questions: Carefully follow the prompts that guide you through the scenario, whether answering questions, making decisions, or taking actions.

  • Take your time with each task: Engage thoroughly with the scenario without rushing, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

Pay Attention to Detail

  • Immerse yourself fully: Focus on the details in the environment to gain a deeper understanding of the scenario and improve your scores.

3. Example Learning Objectives and Tasks

MOONHUB offers a variety of training modules tailored to different industries. Below are examples of  a couple of types of scenarios and how you might be assessed.

Example 1 - Customer Service Training

  • The setting: you could be in  a virtual customer service environment, such as a restaurant, tasked with greeting and assisting a customer.

  • What you’d be doing: You might be asked to interact with the customer by answering their queries, providing solutions, or offering assistance. Whilst needing to  keep an eye out for any safety hazards or suspicious activity.

  • How you’d be assessed: You’ll be positively scored for answering questions correctly, suggesting appropriate solutions, and promptly clicking on hazards and suspicious activity.

Example 2 - Medical Emergency Response

  • The setting: you could be placed in a healthcare setting where you need to respond to a medical emergency, such as assisting a patient who has fallen.

  • What you’d be doing: In this scenario, you could be required to assess the patient’s condition and decide whether to provide immediate care or call for assistance. The decisions you make might lead to different outcomes, helping you understand the impact of each choice in a controlled environment.

  • How you’d be assessed:  In this kind of scenario, you’ll be positively scored for making the right call. It’s important to remember that there is no pass or fail for these types of scenarios, you are encouraged to retry the training as many times as you’d like to help you prepare for making high risk decisions in real life, in a safe controlled environment.

4. Review your Performance

Utilise the Analytics Dashboard

  • View your performance: After completing a scenario, visit the analytics dashboard to view detailed reports on your performance.

  • Key performance metrics: The dashboard provides insights in  key assessment data points:

    • Knowledge retention

    • Decision-making accuracy

    • Spatial awareness

    • Reaction time

  • Track your progress: Use the dashboard to track improvement over time. This data can help identify strengths and areas for development.

  • Review with a manager: Consider discussing your results with a supervisor or manager to get feedback and set goals for future training.
